50th Anniversary Celebration of RPC Camps

The 50th Anniversary Praise Service for camps was held on the 4th of October and it was a wonderful night of thanksgiving for all the work that has been done in Junior camps. We sang praises and worshiped our wonderful Creator who has equipped many Leaders and officers over the years and we thanked Him for all the lives that have been brought to faith through this vital work. We celebrated the safety in travel and the friendships that were formed and strengthened over the past 50 years. We concluded the service with a panel of previous camp leaders sharing fond (and funny) memories of camp, both as campers and as officers. They also shared memories of personal challenges and growth through every talk, ‘thought for the day’, and evening worship which took place.

It was a time of fellowship and connection with all generations of people who had been involved in camps, we were able to reminisce on our own memories. The whole evening was a great reminder of how important camps are, and the need for us to continue supporting them prayerfully each year.
